A-Cho

Neo Amusement Space A-Cho (Kyoto, Japan) is just an hour away from Osaka and has some fame among regular fighting game die-hards; their weekly tournaments are regularly uploaded to Youtube for the Virtua Fighter 3 and Capcom vs SNK 2 heads out there. Once you make it past the escalator at the entrance you're greeted with a huge selection of 90s and 2000s cabinets (Versus City, Vewlix, Noir) as well as a cafe stocked with drinks and pastries. Venture farther upward and you'll find a rhythm game floor that's always bumpin. Bonus points for their adorable bear mascot and the laminated cards explaining controls for each of the games.
